Where’s Waldo…

June 2023 finds us selling the Cherry Bomb and moving on to a slightly larger, Winnebago EKKO. This new van is AWD and has many features and a layout that will make our longer trips a bit more comfortable. We are excited to get going and took it on the road in July to Maine. We travelled through PA, NJ, NY, VT, NH and then ended up in Bar Harbor, ME.

The trip went smoothly and outside of a few minor issues, we are extremely pleased with our new wheels. The hardest part has been figuring out a name. The Cherry Bomb was easy due to the color of the Solis but this one, nothing was hitting us. We got LOTS of great suggestions – VannaWhite, Wanda, Wanderer, Without a Hitch, Lady Intrepid, Grey Goose…. So hard to decide but then it came to us :). Everywhere we go and everyone we talk with always starts by asking us “where have you been, where are you going…”. Sooo, we decided that yes, where in the world are we going so a big WELCOME to “WALDO”!!!
